We're on our second project (the first one considered like 5 projects) and we're working on letter spacing and kerning. So, I finally got my type the way I wanted it..

Now with anyone who knows the mechanics of cats, they're always everywhere you don't want them to be. I decided I was going to transfer my type by using charcoal on the back and "writing" them on. I get up for literally 20 seconds from my board, come back and my cat has planted herself in the charcoal (note her fuzzy white chest and paws are still riddled with charcoal, she wont let me wipe her down). After chasing her away, I decided to try with graphite..and while I was putting the film of pencil lead down on the backside, the printer ink decided to transfer onto the board. So when I flipped it I had "TYPOGRAPHY" all over my board. Thank heavens it erased back.

Outlining Goudy old style and Futura book, was lame. They weren't kidding when they said that smaller was harder. (By the way, you don't need to know who they are, it's not that important).

So after a few hours of inking and tracing and battling my cat to get out of my way, I successfully finished my boards, successfully but not beautifully. Perfect sphere shapes are the bane of my existence.
